Elite is introducing practical robotics and artificial intelligence lessons, in partnership with Rongeka Africa, so learners build real skills for a changing world.

Elite High School is introducing practical robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) lessons, in partnership with Rongeka Africa.
From the day we opened in January 2013, our inquiry-based philosophy has been built on the use of modern technology to raise learner achievement. Robotics and AI are the next step: they turn the theory learners meet in Mathematics, the Sciences and Computer Science into things they can build, test and improve.
What learners will do
The focus is on hands-on, practical learning:
- Robotics: designing, building and programming simple machines, and learning how sensors, motors and code work together.
- Artificial intelligence: understanding what AI is and how it works, and how to use AI tools well and responsibly in their studies.
- Problem-solving: working in teams to plan, test and improve their ideas, the same way engineers and developers do.
Why it matters
Robotics and AI are shaping the jobs and industries our learners will enter. Learning them early, in a practical way, builds confidence with technology and skills that last, alongside the strong academic foundation of our ZIMSEC subjects.
Our partner
Rongeka Africa already provides the school management platform Elite uses for learner records, fees and WhatsApp messages to parents (read why Elite runs on Rongeka Africa). Rongeka will now also support our robotics and AI lessons.
More details, including which forms will take part, will be shared on our news page. Questions? Call or WhatsApp the school on 0790 064 702.
