Elite was named best performing school in Imbizo District by the Better Schools Programme, for the biggest rise in O Level pass rate in 2024.
Elite High School received a Certificate of Excellence from the Better Schools Programme, Imbizo District, recognising Elite as the best performing school which scored the highest percentage pass rate above the previous year at O Level in 2024.
A rising trend
The award reflects a steady climb in our O Level results. Between 2022 and 2024, the share of our learners passing O Level rose sharply, from under half to more than four in five. You can see the trend on our ZIMSEC results page.
What makes this achievement special is that Elite is a non-selective school. We welcome learners with any number of Grade 7 units, and our teachers work hard to help every learner pass five or more subjects. The award is a tribute to their dedication, and to the hard work of our learners and the support of their families.
Excellence that lasts
Our promise is simple: when a learner leaves Elite High School, they will not only have good results. They will have good values to use those results for good.
Congratulations to our teachers, learners and parents. Thinking of joining us? Apply for a place.
